GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Records show that a man and woman charged with human trafficking and kidnapping are scheduled to appear in court.

The Greenville News reports (https://bit.ly/1PfU8cN) that 40-year-old Denicia Alfaro Lleydi and 38-year-old Colin Hernandez Mendez are scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Arrest warrants and indictments show they’re charged with two counts of kidnapping and one count of trafficking in persons. The warrants charge that the two held a woman captive at their residence for about three months in 2013 and forced her to commit sex acts with as many as 100 men a week by threatening to harm her 2-year-old child.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office investigated and arrested Mendez and Lleydi in April 2013.

It wasn’t clear Sunday if the two have attorneys.
