ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A 22-year-old New York man faces 25 years-to-life in prison after being found guilty of murdering a man he was robbing.

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley says a jury convicted Shaquill Battle of second-degree murder on Thursday. He’ll be sentenced in June.

Battle was one of three men charged with killing Jemel Lockhart during a robbery in the victim’s Rochester home in October 2013. Co-defendant Dwayne Tucker was convicted of second-degree murder in the fall.

The third suspect is scheduled to stand trial in June.
