LEE, N.H. (AP) - Police say a 51-year-old New Hampshire woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lee.

Lee police say Melanie Guptill of Barrington was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The crash shut down that section of Route 125 near Wheelwright Pond for about three hours.

Authorities tell WMUR (https://bit.ly/1PfSs30 ) that Guptill’s car careened across the oncoming lane and hit a stone slope, causing it to roll over several times. They say Guptill was thrown from the vehicle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
