ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York state and a well-known culinary school are partnering on an effort to promote the state’s food and beverages.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced last week that the Culinary Institute of America has agreed to work with the state on its Taste NY initiative.

As part of the collaboration, the Culinary Institute will create a series of cooking videos and run a series of New York-themed cooking classes at the school’s Hyde Park campus. In addition, three New York-themed dinners will be held at one of the Institute’s on-campus restaurants in fall 2015.

Taste NY was created in 2013 to market the state’s agriculture and culinary products.
