NOTTINGHAM, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say they rescued a man who was suffering medical issues while hiking at Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham.

Authorities say a hiking companion of Gabriel Williams of Exeter called for help at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday to report his friend needed assistances getting off the mountain.

Fish and Game officials and emergency medical responders found Williams about 1.2 miles from the trailhead.

He was treated by Nottingham and Exeter medical personnel at the scene, then transported to an ambulance and Exeter Hospital for further treatment.

No information on his condition was provided.
