WILLIAMSTOWN, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a Williamstown man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve in the road and went into the woods.

Police say 52-year-old Lynn Beach was pronounced dead at the scene of the Saturday afternoon crash on Chelsea Road in Williamstown.

Authorities say their investigation shows Beach lost control of his motorcycle on a right turn in the roadway and crashed into a wooded area.

The accident occurred at about 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
