IONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Ionia County authorities say they found a man and woman dead in the backyard of a house. They aren’t calling it a murder-suicide but say they aren’t seeking any suspects.

The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/1JpgAym ) says that sheriff’s deputies answered an open 911 call and found the bodies of 58-year-old Harry E. Towner and 57-year-old Deborah K. Towner about 6:15 p.m. Monday. The home is in Ionia Township, just outside of Ionia.

Investigators say they’re awaiting autopsy results. They say evidence found at the scene doesn’t indicate that anyone else was involved in the deaths.
