MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Relatives, friends and classmates of a teen who died during a boat race on the Mobile Bay have gathered for his funeral.

WKRG-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1GXLxJO ) the funeral for 17-year-old Adam Clark was held at a church in Mobile Tuesday. Clark was one of six people who was reported missing after a storm struck the Mobile Bay during a boat race on April 25.

Around 100 boats carrying about 470 people were on Mobile Bay for the race when the squall occurred. Forecasters had issued alerts about the possibility of severe weather along the coast.

Officials are investigating the circumstances that led to boaters being on the water during the storm.
