WAITSFIELD, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont bank has been robbed twice in one week.

Police say a man showed a gun and demanded money at the Northfield Savings Bank in Waitsfield on Tuesday afternoon. He’s described as white with a scruffy beard and a medium build. He was wearing a winter hat and tan jacket. Police believe he left in a tan Toyota Corolla, possibly with another person.

The bank also was robbed on April 28. It is unknown if the two robberies are related.
