CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Department of Transportation is warning motorists of delays on Wednesday as crews work to install girders at the bridge over the Little Wind River south of Riverton.

The department says crews will erect steel bridge girders on the 3.32-mile highway improvement project south of Riverton on Wyoming 789.

Engineer Robert Scheidemantel with WyDOT in Riverton says steel bridge girders are scheduled to be erected on the west side of the current bridge throughout most of Wednesday. He says traffic will be reduced to one lane and says motorists should expect traffic delays of up to 10 minutes.

The girders on the east side of the current Little Wind River bridge are scheduled to be erected on May 13, and similar traffic delays are expected then.
