PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for the public’s help after human remains were found in an overgrown busy area of a Portland suburb.

KPTV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1FOAWCk ) that a tree trimming contractor who was clearing brush along roads in Aloha found the decomposed remains around noon Tuesday.

Deputies say the remains are from an adult, but they are not releasing eh gender at this time.

The Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy this week to identify the remains and determine the cause of death.
