FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - Two New York City men have been sentenced to life in prison in the fatal stabbing of two owners of a New Jersey restaurant during an armed robbery in their home.

A Monmouth County judge on Tuesday sentenced 28-year-old Dong Biao Lin and 25-year-old Zeng Liang Chen in the 2010 slayings of 39-year-old Yao Chen and his 28-year-old sister, Yun Juan Chen. Zeng Liang Chen is not related to the victims.

Both men say they’re sorry for the crimes.

Police found Yao Chen at his Freehold home, bleeding from 74 knife wounds. His sister’s body was found inside the house in a bedroom. She was stabbed 80 times.

Lin pleaded guilty in January 2014. A jury convicted Zeng Liang Chen in February.
