ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities are accusing a Candler man of breaking into an Asheville church twice and stealing cash and electronics.

The Asheville Citizen-Times reports (https://avlne.ws/1EXQGlK) warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate’s office say 40-year-old Neil Whitney Aho is charged with two counts of breaking and entering a place of worship and two counts of larceny.

According to the warrants, Aho is accused of breaking into the Center for Spiritual Living on March 10 and March 16. In the first break-in, he’s accused of stealing $2,000 in cash and an iPad. Warrants accuse him of stealing four laptops, a television and $50 in cash in the second break-in.

Aho is in the Buncombe County jail under a $140,000 secured bond. It’s not known if he has an attorney.
