LOCUST GROVE, Ga. (AP) - Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot to death after an argument at his girlfriend’s home by her brother.

Authorities told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/1Ql4AlF) Dalton McCollough drove to his girlfriend’s house late Tuesday morning in Henry County. Henry County Police Lt. Joey Smith says the girlfriend’s younger brother shot McCollough during the argument and that he died from the injuries. The brother is being questions by authorities.

The girlfriend and her brother have not been identified.

A spokesman for the Henry County School System says McCollough was a junior at Hampton High School. A crisis support team will be at the school for students and staff Wednesday morning.
