MIAMI (AP) - A South Florida judge has issued an arrest warrant for an eye witness to a murder case in Tennessee that’s connected to suspected serial killer Henry Lee Jones.

Jones is already on death row in Florida for the 2003 murder of a man in Melbourne and is a suspect in the 2002 slaying of a Fort Lauderdale man. He was convicted in 2009 of killing Clarence and Lillian James in Tennessee. But the Tennessee Supreme Court overturned the verdict last year, saying jurors shouldn’t have been told of the Florida conviction.

The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/1dPkkiX ) reports Tevarus Young witnessed the Tennessee slayings, testified against him and spent 13 years in prison. He returned to South Florida where his mother lives. She told authorities he doesn’t want to testify again.
