FAIRBURY, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say Little Blue River floodwaters are forcing evacuations in southeast Nebraska’s Jefferson County.

Nebraska Emergency Management Agency spokeswoman Jodi Fawl said Thursday that everything west of the railroad tracks is being evacuated in Fairbury. Parts of Endicott are being evacuated as well.

Authorities also say one of the tornadoes reported in Wednesday’s outbreak of severe weather on the Great Plains damaged outbuildings but no homes in the county.
