GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A 31-year-old Gillette man and 3 dogs died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 about five miles west of Gillette.

The Gillette News Record reports (https://bit.ly/1ERqdVu ) that Phillip Tuttle was driving west Tuesday night in a 1995 Ford pickup behind a semitrailer when the semi began to pull over into the emergency lane. Sheriff Scott Matheny says Tuttle rear-ended the semi.

The pickup and part of the semi caught fire in the collision, which caused a total loss to the pickup and about $5,000 damage to the contents of the semi.

Deputy Coroner Steve Rozier says Tuttle’s death is still under investigation.
