GARY, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Police say they’re investigating city of Gary employees after getting a report of a crime involving Apple products.

Police 1st Sgt. Al Williamson tells The (Munster) Times (https://bit.ly/1H1maqD ) that the investigation is “very big and encompassing” and authorities are working to narrow it. The investigation began three weeks ago.

Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson says the people responsible “will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” but did not comment further.

Williamson said police would look at all that they could, including records and finances.
