OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) - Police have arrested a man suspected of stealing weapons in one of two burglaries at an Ocean Springs attorney’s office.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1AHercl) 20-year-old Tyler McVay has been arrested on two counts of burglary.

Police Capt. William C. Jackson says the burglaries were reported twice within a week, on April 24 and Friday. An AR-15 and a 9mm handgun were reported stolen in the first break-in.

Municipal Judge Matthew Mestayer set bonds at a total of $10,000.

McVay is being at the city jail pending a preliminary hearing.

Jail officials could not provide the name of an attorney representing McVay.
