NEW BERN, N.C. (AP) - A husband and wife are heading to federal prison after pleading guilty to making child pornography.

Bailey Joe Mills and Elizabeth Mills of Lillington were each sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan.

The 34-year-old husband will serve 45 years behind bars and his 35-year-old wife was sentenced to 16 years in prison. Both are required to register as sex offenders and will serve lengthy terms of probation upon release.

According to prosecutors, investigators determined Bailey Joe Mills sexually abused at least 10 children. Authorities later seized mobile phones and computers containing digital photos and videos of minors engaging in sex acts. Prosecutors say Elizabeth Mills assisted her husband in recording the videos.
