DERRY, N.H. (AP) - Police say a 2-year-old boy was killed when a dresser fell on top of him.

Derry Police Capt. Vern Thomas says officers were called to the home just before 9 a.m. Tuesday and found the boy. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Thomas says the investigation is over and no charges will be brought. He said there were no witnesses and called the death a terrible tragedy.

Police did not release any other information.

The boy was not identified because some family members had not been notified.
