PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A police officer and three people were injured in a car crash in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia.

Police say a car struck the side of a police SUV at the intersection of 58th Street and Woodland Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police are investigating how the crash happened.

According to broadcast reports, the officer and the three people in the car were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
