PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police say they’ve found two women dead while responding to a report that one woman was missing.

Police say the women were found in an East Hills home Thursday afternoon.

Police checking out the missing person report smelled an unusual odor and forced open the door. Spokeswoman Sonya Toler says police noticed music playing inside the home that seemed to change in volume, leading them to believe someone else might be in the residence.

The SWAT team responded and cleared the home. No one else was found in the residence.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that police found blood in other parts of the house and were working to confirm the women’s identities.
