PHOENIX (AP) - Bond has been set at $500,000 for a Phoenix woman suspected in a 2014 smoke shop robbery that turned deadly.

Authorities say 18-year-old Erica Vasquez is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a deadly weapon.

She did not have an attorney at her initial court appearance Tuesday.

Phoenix police say Vasquez allegedly acted as a lookout for three other suspects who entered Smoke N’ Pipe Shop on April 29, 2014.

The body of 47-year-old Kadhim Al-Taee was found inside the smoke shop after police officers extinguished a small fire. He was an employee of the shop.

A 911 caller reported a commercial burglary at the business and police arrived to find the doors unlocked, the business ransacked and a fire that apparently was set.
