NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City are looking to question a man in connection with the stabbing of a 22-year-old man on a Brooklyn subway platform.

The NYPD says it happened just before 9 a.m. Saturday while the victim was standing on the platform inside the Chauncey Street subway station.

Police say a man approached the victim and verbally threatened his life. He then stabbed the man in the back of the head and neck with an unknown object.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

The attacker was caught on surveillance footage wearing white jeans, a dark blue jacket and a green baseball hat.
