INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - An autopsy shows a slain 23-year-old Indianapolis woman whose roommate is charged with killing her suffered more than 200 stab wounds.

WISH-TV reported Friday (https://bit.ly/1F4hH74) that the autopsy showed Vilma Soriano suffered about 224 stab wounds to her chest, neck, face, shoulder, back and head.

A probable cause affidavit says officers reported finding Soriano on the floor of her apartment Wednesday night wrapped in some sort of cover. A knife was located next to Soriano.

Twenty-three-year-old Kiara Ivette Ciares-Quinones was arrested Wednesday night and has been charged with murder. Police say she called them to tell them she killed her roommate and then drove off with four children who were later found unharmed.

Online court records do not indicate Ciares-Quinones has an attorney who might comment on the case.
