SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Police in Northern California have arrested a man accused of forcing himself on a 13-year-old girl after following her home from school.

San Jose Police on Friday identified the suspect as 31-year-old Mohammad Khaliqi. He faces multiple counts of burglary, attempted sexual assault and false imprisonment.

Police say the man followed the girl Tuesday to her San Jose home, where he attacked her. The girl told authorities the man appeared to record the encounter on his phone.

Police say Khaliqi was arrested Thursday in San Leandro. They say he may be the same one who tried to sexually assault a 28-year-old woman in a public restroom at a Japanese grocery store.

Home surveillance video shows him pushing the teen up against the wall inside her home before she got away.
