HOPE, Ark. (AP) - A man wanted in a fatal shooting of an Oklahoma man this week was found walking along an Arkansas highway.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 49-year-old John Patrick Williamson of Broken Bow was arrested Thursday morning by an Arkansas State Police trooper on state Highway 32 in Hempstead County in southwestern Arkansas. Williamson is being held in the Hempstead County jail pending extradition.

Oklahoma authorities were searching for Williamson in Wednesday’s shooting death of 46-year-old Michael Sean Daniel in Haworth in McCurtain County in far southeastern Oklahoma.
