JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - This year is the Year of the Sheep in Chinese astrology, but all 12 animals of the traditional Chinese zodiac are now represented at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole.

On Saturday, an artwork called Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads formally opens to the public at the museum. Chinese artist Ai Weiwei (AYE’-way-way) designed the bronze heads of the zodiac animals.

The heads weigh between 800 and 1500 pounds each. They arrived at the museum Monday on board two tractor-trailers. A large crane hoisted the heads into place alongside a sculpture trail.

The Zodiac Heads have been displayed in several cities but never before in a natural setting.

The distant Gros Ventre (grow-VAHNT’) Range will be the backdrop for the Zodiac Heads until the exhibit closes Oct. 11.
