APPLETON, Wis. (AP) - Outagamie County authorities have identified a man pulled from the Fox River.

Post-Crescent Media reports (https://post.cr/1bG5dqf ) the Outagamie County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 54-year-old Thomas Kelly, of Appleton.

A kayaker in Appleton reported the body floating shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they believe it was in the water for months.

Outagamie County Undersheriff Mike Jobe say it does not appear that the death is suspicious, but won’t rule out foul play until the investigation is done.

The autopsy results are still pending.
