SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) - Cedar Point is kicking off its 2015 season with the debut of the northern Ohio amusement park’s first floorless roller coaster and the reopening of its historic Hotel Breakers.

Saturday marks opening day for the Sandusky park.

New this year is the Rougarou roller coaster, a floorless reconfiguration of the stand-up Mantis coaster.

The first passengers from the public got a one-day advance, scoring Friday rides in an auction benefiting NBA star LeBron James’ charity.

The 110-year-old Hotel Breakers that sits next to the park also is reopening. Much of the original hotel was stripped bare over the winter and redone.
