VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Louisiana man will stand trial Nov. 30 on charges in a fatal shooting at a Vicksburg nightclub in February.

The Vicksburg Post reports (https://bit.ly/1EXxTWq ) that 22-year-old Kentrell Williams of Tallulah, Louisiana, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday in Warren County Circuit Court. Judge M. James Chaney set trial for Nov. 30.

Williams is charged with murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm. He is being held on a $2.5 million bond.

If convicted, Williams faces life in prison.

Authorities say 32-year-old Jimmy Johnson of Tallulah was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Feb. 8, 2015 outside LD’s Restaurant and Lounge.

Authorities say Johnson was shot outside the door to the nightclub as police were responding to another call there.
