JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) - Joplin police say a 60-year-old man has died from a bicycle accident.

The Joplin Globe (https://bit.ly/1KTwLVR ) reports that the victim was identified as William Huddleston, of Joplin.

Police said Huddleston’s bicycle had gone off of a retaining wall. A passer-by called authorities shortly before noon Friday after spotting a person lying on the ground. Capt. Bob Higginbotham said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
