SYDNEY (AP) - Captain Alex Brosque scored goals minutes before and after halftime Saturday to lead Sydney FC to a 4-1 win over Adelaide United and a berth in the A-League grand final against the Melbourne Victory.

Brosque scored a minute into added time in the first half, then two minutes into the second half after Nigerian-born Bernie Ibini gave Sydney a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute.

On Friday, Besart Berisha and Kosta Barbarouses put the Victory into a comfortable lead within 30 minutes in a 3-0 win over crosstown rival Melbourne City.

The grand final will be played next Sunday in Melbourne. The last time the teams met in the grand final, Sydney FC beat the Victory in a penalty shootout in 2010.
