DALLAS, Ore. (AP) - A Polk County woman accused of kidnapping her mother at gunpoint, binding her to a chair with duct tape and stealing her belongings is in custody.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1EqTdjG ) that Maura Olsson was located Friday after a one-day search. She was found near the southern Oregon town of Coquille.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Olsson’s mother called for help from their Dallas home on Thursday. The woman told deputies that her daughter pointed a shotgun at her and forced her to a nearby trailer. Once inside, the woman says Olsson tied her up and took her money, cell phone and car.

Officers launched a search for Olsson and she was arrested Friday.
