TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Two people were wounded when shots rang out at a nightclub in New Jersey’s capital city.

Trenton police say the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday at the Rho Waterfront nightclub.

Officers responding to a reported fight at the club found a 24-year-old city man who had been shot in the hand and a 30-year-old Trenton woman who had a graze wound on her left arm.

Both victims were treated at a hospital, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening. Their names have not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the incident. The gunman fled the scene before police arrived and remained at large on Sunday.

Further details about the fight and the shooting have not been disclosed.
