CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Casper man convicted of second-degree attempted murder for trying to run over and kill his wife has been found not guilty of assaulting a security guard at the courthouse.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://goo.gl/tmqwRT ) Clint Webb was acquitted Thursday of trying to head-butt a security guard Oct. 30, 2014, during a hearing involving the attempted murder charge.

Webb was convicted in July of second-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault and property destruction. Police say he rammed his wife’s vehicle June 30, 2014, and then tried to run her over as she fled.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20 on the attempted murder and related charges.
