JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - State corrections officials are looking for an inmate who escaped while on a work detail at the Canton Library.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections, in a news release, said 28-year-old Donald Jack Woodcock III fled the detail Thursday. He was last seen at 12:44 p.m.

Woodcock, who was assigned to the Madison County Community Work Center, is serving four years for malicious mischief and non-residential burglary in Harrison County.

Anyone with information on Woodcock’s whereabouts should call 662-745-6611 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
