PHOENIX (AP) - A 40-year-old man arrested in June in the dumping of a woman’s body in Pinal County now faces a murder charge in her death.

Rolland Camargo was arrested Wednesday on a Maricopa County indictment for second-degree murder-domestic violence in the killing of 37-year-old Nicole Bianca Rivas of Phoenix.

Rivas was reported missing in Phoenix on June 6. She was a mother of two young children.

After her body was found near Stanfield, Camargo was charged in Pinal County with one count of abandoning a body.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office had said Rivas apparently had been dead for days before her body was found and that it didn’t appear she died where her body was found.

Camargo remained jailed Thursday. He didn’t have an attorney during an initial court appearance.
