Minnesota (4-5, 1-4 Big Ten) at No. 8 Iowa (9-0, 5-0, No. 5 CFP), 8 p.m. (BTN)

Line: Iowa by 12.

Series Record: Minnesota leads 62-44-2.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

The first 10-0 start in school history for Iowa, which would also move the Hawkeyes within one win of the West title with a victory. Minnesota would pull within a game of bowl eligibility if it can pull off the upset. There’s also a 98-pound bronze pig named Floyd of Rosedale that’ll go home with the winner.

KEY MATCHUP

Iowa’s passing game vs. Minnesota’s secondary: The Hawkeyes will run as much as they can. But at some point, Iowa will have to try to make some plays through the air - and the Gophers are 15th nationally in passing yards allowed.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Minnesota: QB Mitch Leidner. He threw a career-high four TD passes in last year’s 51-14 blowout of the Hawkeyes in Minneapolis.

Iowa: RB Jordan Canzeri. Coach Kirk Ferentz is optimistic that Canzeri, who rushed for 698 yards and nine TDs in just seven games, will be able to play after missing most of the last three games with a sprained ankle.

FACTS & FIGURES

Iowa is sixth nationally with a plus-11 turnover margin…Minnesota’s KJ Maye has 49 catches for 524 yards, so he’ll likely see a lot of CB Desmond King, whose eight interceptions lead the country … The Gophers, who played unbeaten Ohio State last week, will become the first team this season to face back-to-back teams with at least 8-0 records.
