BENNINGTON, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pregnant woman died following a two-vehicle crash in Bryan County and that the infant was later born dead.

An OHP report says 21-year-old Shawnlynn Pool of Hugo died at a hospital following the crash on U.S. Highway 70 near Bennington. The report says the infant was delivered and pronounced dead at the hospital.

The report says Pool was a passenger in a pickup truck that was eastbound on the highway about 4 p.m. Wednesday when a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline and the two vehicles collided.

The drivers of both vehicles were hospitalized in stable condition.
