DACULA, Ga. (AP) - Police outside Atlanta say a dispute among motorists led two people in a red truck to follow another driver to his home, where one of the motorists was shot to death in the driveway.

Gwinnett County police say a “roadway disagreement” led to the Wednesday violence outside Dacula, about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta.

Police said 24-year-olds Richard Fawbush and Jack Vawter, in the red truck, got into the dispute with 34-year-old Jesse Campbell, who was driving a silver truck. Police say Fawbush and Vawter followed Campbell to his home and tried to assault him in his driveway.

Polices say Campbell told detectives he shot Fawbush, who he said attacked him with a homemade weapon.

Police said the killing appears to have been self-defense. Campbell has not been charged with any crimes.
