BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Colorado authorities say one suspect is still at large after an armed marijuana robbery that led to a fatal standoff with police.

The Daily Camera reports (https://bit.ly/1QxydBX ) that Boulder County Sheriff’s Office says two men entered a home in the city’s foothills Tuesday morning and demanded marijuana. When the resident didn’t comply, a suspect shot into the sofa and pistol-whipped him.

The 45-year-old man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Authorities say the suspects then took marijuana and drove into Boulder, where police and sheriff’s deputies chased them.

The chase was abandoned, but later that night, Longmont police tried to pull over a vehicle they suspected contained one of the suspects.

That led to a chase and, authorities say, the suspect being shot and killed. They haven’t said who shot him.
