FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Authorities in Allegany County are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a school bus with five students on board.

Sheriff’s Deputy Darrell Wildesen says no injuries were reported in the collision Friday morning on Route 36 in Lonaconing (LOH’-nah-koh-ning).

The bus was carrying students to Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg. Wildesen says it was hit by a black car at about 7:15 a.m.

Allegany County Public Schools spokeswoman Dixie Heavener says the incident delayed delivering the students to school.
