MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a security guard at Mesa’s Westwood High School has been accused of sexual conduct with a minor.

Mesa police announced Friday that 33-year-old Aaron Lamar Wilkins is being held on suspicion of three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

He’s been booked into the Mesa Police Holding Facility. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer yet.

Police say they received information from school authorities of possible sexual conduct between Wilkins and a 17-year-old female student at Westwood High.

Detectives conducted interviews with the student and Wilkins, leading to probable cause for his arrest.

Police say the alleged acts occurred this year but didn’t immediately disclose any other details.
