PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia’s next mayor has announced his picks for his top four administration posts.

Jim Kenney on Friday announced Michael DiBerardinis would be his managing director.

Jane Slusser, Kenney’s campaign manager, was named his chief of staff.

Otis Hackney, principal at South Philadelphia High School, will serve as Kenney’s chief education officer.

Debbie Mahler, Kenney’s longtime chief of staff when he was a councilman, will be his deputy mayor for intergovernmental affairs.

The announcements came two days after Kenney named Deputy Police Commissioner Richard Ross replace the city’s retiring police commissioner.

Kenney takes over from Mayor Michael Nutter at his Jan. 4 inauguration.
