FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - A Fort Worth man prosecutors say was a serial rapist and robber whose victims included women and men of various ages has been sentenced to two life sentences plus 80 years in prison.

The Tarrant County district attorney’s office says a jury sentenced 52-year-old Terry Lynn Douglas on Thursday after finding him guilty of aggravated kidnapping, attempted aggravated sexual assault and robbery.

Prosecutors say Douglas was arrested last year after a victim he attempted to sexually assault and then robbed of her car picked him out of a photo lineup. Police then connected Douglas to a series of four other recent robberies and sexual assaults in the area.

Prosecutors say Douglas’ DNA then connected him to at least a dozen other robberies and sexual assaults over the past several years.
