CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - A suspect in a fatal shooting near New York City’s Penn Station has been arrested in Rhode Island.

U.S. Marshal Jamie Hainsworth says the suspect was arrested in Cranston, Rhode Island. The suspect’s name was not immediately released.

Three men were shot on Monday at a subway entrance near Penn Station. The shooting followed a confrontation at a McDonald’s.

A 43-year-old man shot in the neck was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims were hospitalized.

The NYPD took a suspect into custody on Thursday and questioned him in the shooting, but a police spokesman says that suspect has not been charged in the shooting.
