BRENHAM, Texas (AP) - Police have arrested a third person over the 2014 fatal shooting of a Blinn College freshman whose body was found on a Brenham street.

Brenham police on Friday arrested a second juvenile on a capital murder charge.

Police say the latest suspect was 16 years old when Trey Alan Kurtz of Houston was slain.

Investigators earlier this month arrested another juvenile, also 16 at the time of the killing, on a capital murder count. Police in October charged an 18-year-old man with capital murder.

Authorities haven’t released a possible motive for the attack in Brenham, 70 miles northwest of Houston.

Police spokeswoman Angela Hahn said Saturday that the first juvenile arrested was not being prosecuted as an adult. She had no details on the suspect arrested Friday.
