CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - A third person has been sentenced to prison for the 2014 slaying of a Corpus Christi convenience store owner during a holdup.

Del Victoria Cavazos was charged with capital murder but pleaded guilty Friday to robbery and tampering with evidence in a plea deal. She was sentenced to 20 years for the robbery count and four years for the tampering charge, with the terms served concurrently.

Prosecutors say Cavazos was the getaway driver during the fatal shooting of Mostafa “Ben” Bighamian.

Arturo Navarro pleaded guilty Monday to murder, in a plea deal, and received 45 years in prison.

Jurors in Corpus Christi earlier convicted Daniel Garcia of capital murder, as the person who shot the store owner, and sentenced him to life in prison without parole.
